Abstract:
This literature evaluation examines the role of cell fitness (mHealth) applications in selling patient engagement and self-management of continual situations. Analyzing 15 peer-reviewed articles from 2014-2024, the overview exhibits that mHealth apps have greatly improved remedy adherence, symptom control, and standard fitness results throughout diverse chronic conditions. Critical functions of powerful apps consist of user-targeted design, proof-primarily based content material, rationalization, and integration of behavioral trade strategies. However, challenges persist, along with facts, concerns, privacy problems, the virtual divide, and integration with existing healthcare systems. Long-time period engagement remains a full-size hurdle, with studies exploring strategies like gratification to maintain user interest. The evaluation also highlights the potential of mHealth apps to cope with health literacy gaps and promote equitable healthcare shipping. While the general evidence supports the practical impact of mHealth apps, their effectiveness depends on different factors such as app layout, consumer characteristics, and healthcare context. Future research must be conscious of long-term research, standardized evaluation frameworks, and techniques for equitable entry to and integration into current healthcare systems.

Abstract:
Background: Dexmedetomidine is the preferred drug for light sedation in intensive care units (ICU) where sedation plays an important role in patient comfort. Its advantages include shorter weaning time and earlier extubating from mechanical ventilation without respiratory depression. However, dexmedetomidine has been associated with over 50% incidence of hemodynamic adverse effects (hypotension and bradycardia) that has led to poor clinical outcomes. This limits its widespread use. Factors such as age, comorbidities, concomitant medications, dosage, baseline mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) have been associated with adverse effects. Despite the high number of reported adverse effects, there is limited data on incidence and associated factors in resource limited settings.

The risk of developing dangerous blood clots, a condition called venous thromboembolism (VTE), increases dramatically during pregnancy. This risk is 4-5 times higher than for non-pregnant women and can occur throughout pregnancy, with some studies suggesting its more frequent during the first half. VTE includes deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), both of which can have serious complications like pulmonary hypertension, post-thrombotic syndrome, and venous insufficiency. Doctors utilize various diagnostic tools – including compression duplex ultrasonography, echo, ventilation-perfusion scans, and CT scans – for accurate diagnosis. Prompt treatment is crucial for the health of mother and baby. This article will thoroughly review existing research on thromboembolic diseases during pregnancy, providing a comprehensive understanding of this important issue.

This paper explores the role of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) in increasing the penetration of digital financial services in rural India. Since its inception, UPI has revolutionized the payments landscape, offering a convenient, cost-effective, and secure platform for conducting transactions. The research evaluates UPIs contributions to rural financial inclusion by improving access to banking services, reducing dependence on cash, and supporting government programs like Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT). It also examines the challenges that hinder UPIs broader adoption in rural areas, such as poor digital infrastructure, low digital literacy, trust issues, and economic barriers. Case studies from successful and less successful regions highlight both the progress and ongoing obstacles. The paper concludes with policy recommendations to further expand UPI’s reach, including targeted literacy campaigns, cybersecurity enhancements, and infrastructure investments. The findings suggest that while UPI has significantly contributed to rural financial inclusion, continued efforts are essential for overcoming persistent challenges.

Abstract:
The panorama of healthcare is swiftly evolving, with technological advancements playing a pivotal role in remodeling patient care, scientific processes, and healthcare management. In this context, the nursing profession unearths itself on the intersection of conventional caregiving and modern-day technology. As frontline healthcare companies, nurses are increasingly required to evolve to and leverage new technology to decorate patient effects, enhance performance, and increase first-rate care. This necessitates a non-stop studying technique, one that extends some distance beyond formal training and initial schooling. Self-directed learning (SDL) emerges as a crucial technique for nurses to maintain pace with technological advances in their discipline. SDL refers to a manner in which people take the initiative to diagnose their getting-to-know wishes, formulate gaining knowledge of dreams, pick out sources for getting-to-know, choose and implement suitable mastering techniques, and evaluate learning effects.

Abstract:
In Akobo County, Jonglei State, land governance and resource tenure have also become a critical point of contestation considering South Sudan federalism setup. As such, land and natural resource management remain central to the socio-economic development and stability of the region. However, the harmonious inter-relations between pastoralist communities and land tenure policies with environmental sustainability are fast becoming causes of heightened tensions and resource-based conflicts. While the federal structure is a transition towards a devolution of governance, in some instances, it has perpetuated land ownership or usage rights conflicts, notably in those more rural communities that depend on the pastoral lifestyle for income. This paper explores how federalism can shape resource tenure and land governance in Akobo County, raising questions over whether such an arrangement fosters cohesion or conflict. The study found that there is a lack of explicit rules and systems at county level, a gap in land policy communication, and more effective policies on resource use regulation. Despite the conflicts of land tenure policy and customary law, the level of disputes between state governments and local communities remains relatively low, showing the potential for its continuity in cooperation. The study recommends that the state government step up its efforts and assistance to the community, emphasizing thorough training programs, larger resource distribution, and proactive policy engagement that attends to the particular requirements of subsistence farmers. Study recommends the enactment of appropriate systems and regulations that govern resource tenure at the county levels.

Abstract:
As the two largest economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Africa and Kenya have long had complex economic ties. Through these partnerships, both countries benefit from trade, investment, tourism, and other forms of growth and development. Immigration laws have a significant impact on these economic relationships. Workers, wealth, and goods are easily moved by immigrants. There have been recent modifications to South Africa immigration policy. The socio-economic ties between South Africa and Kenya are mainly disregarded, even though these shifts are extensively recorded. Preliminary findings indicate that these policy adjustments could have a significant impact on labor mobility, bilateral commerce, investment flows, and other economic linkages. The nature, scope, and long-term consequences are still unknown. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implications of South Africa immigration policy change of 2023-2024 for socioeconomic relations with Kenya. The objectives of the study were to analyze the implications of South Africa immigration policy change of 2023-2024 on the bilateral trade, bilateral labor relations and bilateral cultural exchange with Kenya. In conclusion, the South Africa-Kenya visa-free travel regime has had a positive influence on enhancing trade relations, increasing exports, and expanding business opportunities, despite challenges in achieving a more favorable trade balance for Kenya. While the South Africa-Kenya visa-free travel regime has facilitated professional mobility and engagement in career development activities for Kenyan professionals, it has not significantly improved hiring rates, working conditions, or bilateral labor agreements. While the South Africa-Kenya visa-free travel regime has enriched cultural exchanges and improved mutual appreciation of cultural heritage, additional initiatives are required to enhance student exchanges and joint cultural events.
