Abstract:
In an era where the financial sector increasingly relies on digital infrastructure, the proliferation of cyber threats poses significant financial stability and security risks. Traditional cybersecurity measures are proving inadequate against sophisticated and evolving cyberattacks. This paper explores the role of machine learning (ML) in enhancing cybersecurity within the financial sector. ML offers proactive and adaptive defense mechanisms by leveraging advanced algorithms and vast datasets. This paper examines the applications, benefits, and challenges of integrating ML into financial cybersecurity, providing insights into its potential to transform the industry security landscape.
