Abstract: The panorama of healthcare is swiftly evolving, with technological advancements playing a pivotal role in remodeling patient care, scientific processes, and healthcare management. In this context, the nursing profession unearths itself on the intersection of conventional caregiving and modern-day technology. As frontline healthcare companies, nurses are increasingly required to evolve to and leverage new technology to decorate patient effects, enhance performance, and increase first-rate care. This necessitates a non-stop studying technique, one that extends some distance beyond formal training and initial schooling. Self-directed learning (SDL) emerges as a crucial technique for nurses to maintain pace with technological advances in their discipline. SDL refers to a manner in which people take the initiative to diagnose their getting-to-know wishes, formulate gaining knowledge of dreams, pick out sources for getting-to-know, choose and implement suitable mastering techniques, and evaluate learning effects.
