Abstract: This literature evaluation examines the role of cell fitness (mHealth) applications in selling patient engagement and self-management of continual situations. Analyzing 15 peer-reviewed articles from 2014-2024, the overview exhibits that mHealth apps have greatly improved remedy adherence, symptom control, and standard fitness results throughout diverse chronic conditions. Critical functions of powerful apps consist of user-targeted design, proof-primarily based content material, rationalization, and integration of behavioral trade strategies. However, challenges persist, along with facts, concerns, privacy problems, the virtual divide, and integration with existing healthcare systems. Long-time period engagement remains a full-size hurdle, with studies exploring strategies like gratification to maintain user interest. The evaluation also highlights the potential of mHealth apps to cope with health literacy gaps and promote equitable healthcare shipping. While the general evidence supports the practical impact of mHealth apps, their effectiveness depends on different factors such as app layout, consumer characteristics, and healthcare context. Future research must be conscious of long-term research, standardized evaluation frameworks, and techniques for equitable entry to and integration into current healthcare systems.
