Abstract:
Scar ectopic pregnancy (SEP) is a rare yet potentially life-threatening condition where the fertilized egg implants within the scar tissue of a previous cesarean section. The rising incidence of C-sections has paralleled an increase in SEP cases, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of its clinical presentation, diagnosis, management options, and potential complications. This article delves into the current knowledge on SEP, drawing upon pertinent literature and expert insights.
