Abstract:
This study aimed to develop contextualized numeracy materials for Grade 1 learners using the ADDIE model and the Realistic Mathematics Learning (RML) approach. The materials were designed to be relevant and meaningful for learners, facilitating easier recognition of patterns and mastery of algebraic skills. The study found that the materials were highly valid and acceptable for Grade 1 mathematics instruction, with significant improvements in numeracy skills observed among learners.
