Abstract:
The incidence of cancer globally has been on an upward trend in the past decade. Promotion of quality of life (QoL) for children with cancer has become a priority in pediatric research and clinical care. The QoL reflects individual perceptions of the impact of illness on overall, physical, functional, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Many studies have indicated presence of a high degree of symptom-distress leading to poor patient and family outcomes.
