Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus (DM), a chronic metabolic disorder, is caused by which the pancreas does not produce enough insulin (a hormone that regulates blood glucose) or of which the body cannot use the insulin which is produced effectively. If it is not immediately prevented or addressed, DM will induce to complications leading to death. One of the preventive actions is to check blood glucose levels regularly.
