Abstract:
Kemijen is a village in the northern part of Semarang Timur District which is affected by tide. When there is a tide or flood, the residents do land-taking to elevate their houses. Stage house is a suitable house for tidal / flood areas because the floor of the houses becomes higher compared to ordinary houses, without being buried and the floor of the houses will remain dry.
