Abstract:
The study aimed to develop contextualized instructional materials in teaching Makabansa 1. The lesson crafted was anchored on the first quarter learning competency from the MATATAG curriculum of the Department of Education. The study followed a descriptive-developmental design. There were eight (8) teacher participants in the study, which were selected purposively: eight identified the essential learning competency that needs contextualized instructional material, and five (5) validated the content.
