Abstract:
Infertility significantly affects about 48 million couples globally, presenting a major issue in reproductive biology concerning the potential impact of psychological stress on pregnancy rates. Those experiencing difficulty in conceiving often encounter substantial emotional distress, increasing their risk for psychological issues. There is a mutual reinforcement between stress and infertility, where stress might contribute significantly to infertility. Moreover, infertility treatments can elevate stress levels and negatively affect treatment outcomes.
