Abstract:
According to the 2019 Population Census, approximately 2.2% of Kenyans have disabilities, with Nairobi County accounting for 0.2% of the total population. Specifically, within Starehe constituency, 0.05% of residents are physically challenged individuals. These individuals experience significant disparities, including extreme poverty, limited access to education, housing, and employment opportunities.
