Leadership is a vital component in the management of healthcare organizations. There are many leadership styles. The purpose of this literature review was to explore the different leadership styles with reference to the impact on healthcare management. Even though there are positive and negative aspects of each leadership style, beneficial outcomes for health system can be achieved by using the most suitable leadership style for the given context.
