In this article, we assess the accuracy of theoretical shell model in calculating the excited states of Sodium isotopes24,26Na on the basis of recently reported experimental results. The assessments rely on the calculations of the energy levels, reduced electric quadrupole transition probabilities B(E2) and reduced magnetic dipole transition probabilities B(M1) are based on OXBASH shell model code by applying USDB interaction.
