Abstract:
Since 2016, Cameroon has been trying to contain and manage a deep political and security crisis in its Northwest and Southwest Regions. This crisis is based on the claims of an autonomous identity carried by armed groups, scattered in the forests and claiming to be a state under the label of the Republic of Ambazonia, with Sissiku AYUK TABE as leader. The material consequences of this are often kidnappings, destruction of property and public buildings, attacks and assassinations of civilians and soldiers.
