Abstract: This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of mineral resource governance (MRG) in Zimbabwes platinum group metals (PGMs) sector, examining the structural, institutional, and political factors that shape governance outcomes. Despite possessing the worlds third-largest PGMs reserves, Zimbabwe continues to experience economic underdevelopment, widespread poverty, and significant revenue leakages estimated at US$32 billion over two decades.
