Abstract: This paper evaluates mineral resources governance (MRG) in Zimbabwes platinum group metals (PGMs) sector, assessing governance performance against international benchmarks and stakeholder expectations. Despite possessing the worlds third-largest PGMs reserves, Zimbabwe experiences significant governance deficits resulting in revenue leakages estimated at US$32 billion over two decades and persistent poverty affecting over 7 million citizens.
