Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to examine the effect of pre and post-adoption periods of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in Nigeria and Kenya economy. A desk review research approach was adopted in this study, as related journals, articles, and literatures related to this research work were reviewed.
