Abstract: A primary caregiver is a person who consistently assumes the responsibility for the housing, health or safety of the patient. Caregivers are facing problems such as stress, burden, anxiety, frustration, feeling the pressure of increased dependency and etc. Care activities for schizophrenia and bipolar affective disorder patients affect on the general and mental health of caregivers (Reinhard, 1994).
