This study aimed to consider the effect of entrepreneurial characteristics on business strategy and business performance of female entrepreneurs. This also investigated the indirect impact of entrepreneurial characteristics on female entrepreneurs’ business performance through the mediator of business strategy. In this study, the populations were all female entrepreneurs in Surabaya. Fifty respondents as samples were taken with non-probability sampling. They were determined to meet the particular criteria of research purposes.
