Abstract:
As a maritime nation, Malaysia has developed its own maritime capabilities in order to safeguard its national interest over the sea especially in Exclusive economic zone (EEZ). Any activity that could threaten the strength of the economy can be regarded as betray national interests and actions must be taken to prevent it vociferously. South China Sea (SCS) is increasingly important not only in terms of defence strategy even in economic development of the country. It is used by the warships and merchant ships.
