Abstract:
Background and Purpose: Workplace violence remains common in Nigeria work settings. Unfortunately, nursing, a profession that builds its practice on compassion while caring for their patients is not spared from this phenomenon of workplace violence. Studies have reported cases of workplace violence among nurses to occur frequently worldwide (Koh, 2016). Workplace violence is prevalent in healthcare organizations.
