Abstract:
Indonesias marine plastic waste pollution is severe and has a significant impact on Indonesias marine environment, ecology, biodiversity, economy, and health. The aims of this study are to enrich the theoretical basis, provide a new way to solve the problem related marine plastic waste pollution and promote the reform of Indonesia marine plastic waste pollution law. By applying interdisciplinary approach and literature reviews, result showed that existing regulations not specifically regulate about marine plastic waste pollution. So, this study suggests to improve legal regulations and implementations. Also, clearly define the agencies or Ministers that have responsibility to handle about marine plastic waste pollution problem in Indonesia.
