Abstract:
A compound gear train is a combination of gears used to transmit motion and power from one shaft to another. The gears that make up a compound gear usually differ in size and have a different number of teeth. This is useful if there is a need to speed up or slow down the final output. Our motive is to design a compound gearbox, which has a reduction gear ratio of 10:1.
