Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to define and explain the importance of cyber security and the impact cyber data breaches have on the consumer. This paper also tries to explore several different methods to help protect data while also using real-world examples of some data breaches that have occurred in recent history as well as in the US healthcare industry.
