Abstract:
A solution casting technique was used to prepare Halloysite nanoclay (HNC) incorporated Poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) and crosslinked with glutaraldehyde (GA). The prepared membranes were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscopy, differential scanning calorimeter and thermo gravimetric analysis. Resulting membranes were tested for pervaporation (PV) separation of water-isopropanol mixture.
