Abstract: Study purpose was to assess regular monitoring effect on academic performance among secondary schools in Meru County; Kenya. The target population for this study was secondary schools Principals or Deputy and the teachers and students in all the 930 schools in the County. Stratified random sampling was used to obtain the required sample of 186. Stratification ensured that each department is represented in the sample.
