Abstract:
Cardiac catheterization procedures play major role in diagnostic and therapeutic purposes in interventional cardiology. Meantime, concern has been expressed regarding the radiation exposure to medical staff and patient since the significant amount of fluoroscopy imaging is used during the cardiac catheterization procedures. This study investigates the occupational radiation dose to radiographers who work at cardiac catheterization laboratory.
