Abstract:
Background Childhood obesity increases the risk of obesity in adulthood and is associated with cardiovascular disease risk factors. The roots of the obesity epidemic need to be tracked back as early in life as possible. The objective of the study was to determine the prevalence of obesity and to describe the association of overweight with selected factors and anthropometric measures among children attending preschools.
