Ali Nouhou, Hainikoye Souley Ibrahim, Mahamadou Bahari
Abstract: Sahelian ecosystems are subject to natural and anthropogenic pressures. Their proximity to the great Sahara desert makes them among the most vulnerable in West Africa. The main aim of this project is to analyze the factors driving land degradation in the district of Banibangou (North-West Niger). The study of the land use evolution was based on the processing of satellite images from 1975, 2013 and 2020.
