Despite the recognition of the importance of monitoring and evaluation in economic policy management and resource utilization, there is a lack of suitable integrated federal frameworks for monitoring and evaluation in Somalia. This has resulted in inadequate feedback mechanisms, scarce resources, and ineffective public services, which have compromised the ability of the government to make informed decisions and effectively implement economic policies. The study aimed to address this problem by examining the current monitoring and evaluation practices among infrastructure projects in Kismayu, Somalia.
