Abstract:
This study was conducted among employees of CSIR-Food Research Institute (CSIR-FRI) in Accra, and sought to, firstly, establish the average job satisfaction level of all employees in the institute, and secondly, to elicit their views on the relationship between prevailing Human Resource Management (HRM) practices at the institution, and their job satisfaction. The motivation for this was the dearth of published research on the subject, and within the context of Ghanaian research institutions.
