Abstract:
Gastrointestinal endoscopy causes discomfort and is a burdensome procedure for patients. Providing sedation to relieve patient anxiety and discomfort, improve examination results, and reduce patient memories about the incident. Effective sedation can be assessed by how the drug reaches the onset of rapid sedation, stable hemodynamics and fast recovery time.
