Abstract:
Bipolar disorder (BD) is a mental health condition that affects approximately 1% of the global population. It is characterized by extreme euphoric mood swings and depressive and manic episodes. Despite the increasing number of patients world-wide, there are very few viable treatments that have proven efficacy for treating bipolar disorder.
