Abstract: IntroductionNosocomial infection is a serious problem and one of the causes of increased morbidity and mortality rates in hospitals. VAP occurs due to the risk of inoculating oropharyngeal microorganisms, subglottis, sinuses, and the gastrointestinal tract, especially in the supine position.
