Abstract: This study examines leadership style of management on managerial strategy in public sector in South Sudan. The research used mixed method approach with descriptive method to determine the effect of leadership styles on managerial strategy. The population of the study comprised of all the 50 staffs with sample size of 45 respondents. Simple random sampling as well as purposive and convenience sampling techniques were used in this research. Questionnaires were used to collect data on leadership style and employee performance both quantitatively and qualitatively. SPSS software was used to calculate simple analysis. Themes were also developed from the interview transcriptions.
