Abstract:
The present investigation entitled, “Physiological analysis of groundnut (Arachis hypogaea L.) genotypes” during summer season of the year 2011 at AICRP on Groundnut, Cotton Improvement Project, M.P.K.V., Rahuri (M.S.). The experiment was conducted in a randomized block design (RBD) with twenty two genotypes replicated two times in single rows with the spacing of 30 x 10 cm. The observations on different plant characters such as Growth studies, phenological traits, dry matter studies, various growth parameters, physiological parameters, protein and oil content, correlation studies and path analysis were recorded. Various morphological and yield contributing characters determine the productivity of the groundnut genotypes.
