The purpose of the study was to explore the experiences of mothers of children who live with developmental disabilities with reference to medical health care practitioners. Qualitative research approaches were used to explore the experiences of three mothers of children with Cerebral Palsy and three mothers of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Convenience sampling was used to select the study participants. A thematic approach was used to analyse the stories.
