Abstract:
Predeceasing, the first era of Islam and the first Caliphate, Muhhamed, as well as the era of the Umayyad, The Abbasid Caliphate was once one of the most powerful and influential empires in the world. Founded in 750 CE, it brought great advancements in science, culture, and trade to the Islamic world. Baghdad, the Abbasid capital, became a center of learning and culture, known for its scholars and libraries.
