Abstract:
Background: The goal of pharmacovigilance is to safeguard public health by discovering, analyzing, and mitigating safety hazards associated with medications in order to guarantee that the overall benefits of medicines outweigh the dangers. A successful national pharmacovigilance system must identify and implement feasible systems, governance, infrastructure, human resource, training and capacity building, sustainable methodologies, and innovations in pharmacovigilance.
