Abstract:
Pavement evaluation is fundamental in determining the functional and structural conditions of the pavement structure and its need for strengthening. Functional conditional pavement evaluation indicated that the pavement was not satisfactory owing to the high values of the pavement surface roughness measured in International Roughness Index (IRI) in some sections, which were in excess of the recommended minimum of IRI of 3.0 mm/m limit. Three traffic analysis scenarios were simulated and the RoSy analysis and design software was used in the analysis. The CUSUM method was used to plot the FWD pavement surface deflections.
