Abstract:
The integration of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) into capacity development initiatives is of utmost significance in ensuring the effectiveness and impact of these programs. Nevertheless, there is a limited body of academic work on this topic, leading to a dearth of understanding of the determinants of effective integration of monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Thus, the study answered the research question; What institutional factors are affecting the integration of M&E in capacity development programs and how do they impact the effectiveness of these programs?
