Abstract: Diabetes is the growing public health issue where type 2 diabetes, estimating for 85% to 95% of all cases was considered by insulin confrontation as when the body no longer utilizes insulin adequately to control the blood sugar. In Rwanda, the Ministry of Health reported that in 2016, 43% of patients admitted in hospitals located in the City of Kigali were diagnosed with non-communicable diseases where diabetes took a part of 27.3% of the total bed occupancy.
