Abstract:
Security Sector Reforms (SSRs) are at the centre of post-conflict reconstruction, and they have been marked as an integral pillar of a reconstruction strategy, which demands a holistic approach to prevent the state from relapsing into armed conflict. The Southern part of Sudan has been plagued by armed conflict, despite numerous conflict resolution efforts.
