Abstract:
Presently, half of the world population live in cities and the world is rapidly urbanizing keeping the cities as the major living space of the people. It has been projected that by the year 2030 urban population in the world will increase up to 60 percent. This rapid increase in urban population will make a huge demand for their socio-economic needs and will exert much pressure on natural resources.
