Abstract:
The government of Kenya is dedicated to improving the quality and access to health care throughout the country. In this regard, the government has continually allocated a significant portion of the national budget to the health sector. However, despite all the efforts from the central, county governments and various development partners, funding has been inadequate and quite a number of projects in the public health sector encounter challenges in the course of their life cycle and more often than not, their implementation has not been successful.
