Abstract: Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) is among the most prevalent bacterial infections, encompassing a range of clinical conditions caused by microbial invasion of the urinary tract from the renal cortex to the urethral meatus. This study aimed to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of the nitrate reduction (nitrite) test for rapid detection of UTIs, with the goal of aiding timely treatment decisions.
