PERCEIVED PSYCHOLOGICAL EFFECT OF INFERTILITY ON WOMEN ATTENDING FERTILITY CLINICS IN YENAGOA METROPOLIS OF BAYELSA STATE

Abstract: The study examined the psychological impact of infertility on women who were clients in three fertility clinics in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The objectives of the study were to: identify factors associated with perceived causes of female infertility; identify perceived psychological effects of infertility, and identify the coping strategies utilized by women with psychological challenges of infertility attending the selected fertility clinics in Bayelsa State.
