Abstract:
This study developed a Master Teacher Competency Framework to redefine the roles of master teachers in technology-enhanced educational environments. Using a multimethod research design, the study examined 101 master teachers from eight mega schools in Butuan City Division. Performance evaluation records revealed that master teachers consistently achieved "outstanding" to "very satisfactory" performance ratings in their mandated roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities as outlined in the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST).
