Abstract:
Documentation of herbal practices reveals the number of species used in disease treatment locally. However, without exception, every area and forest region of the country faces danger of over-exploitation. Therefore, for biodiversity threat assessment of ethnomedicinal plants in Warud tahsil of Amravati district in Maharashtra, field observations were made pertaining to the medicinal plants; regarding over-exploitation, destructive methods of harvest, exploitation for purposes other than medicinal and indiscriminate destruction/cutting, etc. The species under these threats are separately
